Does anyone have any current update or experience with the Uniboard Lock'n Seal Premium product. It is an HDF laminate made by Uniboard in Canada. What I have found so far seems to be mostly positive. I am considering buying 800 sq ft of Uniboard Lock'n Seal Premium from Sam's Club. The color is Sonoma Cherry. Sams has it on special for $1.57 a sq. ft.

Also, any information about possible matching mouldings would be greatly appreciated. I can't seem to find anyone that sells Uniboard mouldings.

In another thread I indicated that I was looking at Pergo Vintage home, but they only make a 4 in 1 moulding that sells for $40 to $50 for 6 1/2 ft which made the install a little pricey. Still looking into staining mouldings for the Pergo. I guess I could stain moulding to match the Uniboard product if I have to.

However, when I found the Uniboard product at Sam's for a good price I thought I would explore it as an option. I know the old adage "You get what you pay for" but there seems to a wide latitude in laminate flooring pricing as it is becoming very competitive.

Thanks in advance

I installed the Sonoma Cherry Lock'n Seal flooring I purchased from Sam's Club. I am very happy with the floor. Installation was fairly easy. I am having trouble finding T moulding to use between the carpet and flooring. Uniboard says I can only get it from Sam's Club website. The website says SimpleSolutions™ Four-In-One Molding-Medium Cherry is for use with the Sonoma Cherry. It arrived yesterday and it doesn't match AT ALL. I've emailed Sam's Club to see if they possibly sent me the wrong color. Have you found anywhere else to get matching trim?

Floorhouse.com stocks Uniboard mouldings that are an exact match. I ordered the Sonoma cherry mouldings from them an they are an exact match. There prices were fair compared to some moulding prices I looked at.

The shipping is not cheap as the mouldings are 94 inchs long and are therefore charged a higher shipping charge for the length. They ship FedEx Ground from upstate NY.

I too tried to find the moldings at Sam's, etc. and looked on floorhouse.com. Floorhouse wanted like $25 + ship for each molding and they are huge. I didn't want to spend so much on one piece of molding when I only needed a doorway amount of one type and the rest in another type (t-molding, carpet transistion, etc.)

I decided that I would try to find matching ones and I did at Lowe's for quite a bit cheaper than floorhouse - like $11 for quarter round and $20 ish for the four-in-one's (can change to be any type). The one's that I thought looked really close to the Sonoma Cherry are by Pergo Simple Solutions. The four in one's are item #36229 and the quarter round is #31158. They may not be exact to you, but if not, they're really close and good enough for me. I hope this helps :)
