I have looked everywhere on the 'Net and can't find any reference for indoor plantings. We have this beautiful stand of burgundy cannas growing on a sunny bare lot. Have transplaned one into a large pot and it is thriving on the deck. If we bring it inside during winter months (sunny indoor location) will it continue growing? Or will it die off until spring?

Thanks for any and all advice.

why not just let the frost get it and let it come back from the tubers each year?

We will for the plantings we've reestablished around the house perimeter. But we're in a new build with a (not that large) great room and thought we could add to our indoor collection of large-scale plants - on the cheap.
