Hi all, I am new to this forum. Will really appreciate any help I can get.
I just did something stupid. I wiped the blower area with a piece of tissue paper without turning off the unit. Then the piece of tissue paper got sucked in.
Besides the irritating noise its producing, I am worried about the long term effects it will have on the unit.
Is there anyway for me to remove that piece of tissue paper on my own?
Thanks in advance to everyone.

If it is a lot of paper that was "sucked it" then you may try flushing it out with a water hose until all of the paper is gone.
You must have used an awful lot of tissue to cause it to make noise.
Being it's tissue I would think it would desolve on it's own in a few days with all the condensation your unit will pruduce, might want to see if it clears on it's own before trying to flush it out yourself...
First I hear of such a problem :)

I take it you mean the paper got into the blower wheel. Turn the power off. Then take a shop vac to the blower and see if that will get it all. OR Then you can take the blower out and clean the paper out of the wheel. You do have to get it out of there cause it will cut down on the air to the AC coil.
