The unit is an updraft weathermaster and it's 7 years old. The primary and secondary drains appear to flow normally. When the unit is running there is no sign of any water leakage. After the blower stops, water gushes out from the bottom pan as if air pressure kept it contained. I blew out the pipes and opened the unit to see if there was any blockage. I suspect a crack in the primary pan but can't visually tell. my question is is it time to call a pro or could I be missing something obvious. A pint of freon was added (after 7 years) and the guage looks normal.
Thanks

You say it is an upflow. Just so I am clear, the fan is on the bottom & blows air up thru the coil?

Any frost or ice at the coil there??? Filter and coil clean inside? 7 years can be low on freon.

Yes, blower is on the bottom and blows upward over the coils.
We added 12 oz of freon last week.
There is no heavy ice on the coils, just a light frost and sweat.
The condenser unit was cleaned last week and is clear of debris.
For some reason the unit drips into the blower area. Then runs under the pan.
I have a dehumidfier running to get moisture from the basement. It's a finished basement sub grade but not damp.
Thanks for responding!!

If everything is ok there should be no frost on the coil at all. Sounds like your low on freon again. Did they check for leaks??? and fix them????

Ed's right about the frost. There should be NONE. Condensation is good but not frost.
Your leak could be a hole or crack in the drain pan or simply too much condensation to run down the fins & into the pan.
