jonesin114,
Are we to assume their is a BOX already mounted in the ceiling to which this fan will be connected to?
I will give you a few ways to do this and meet the weight issue requirements for the mounting but need to know if you are mounting to a BOX and what type of BOX it is.

What box do you speak of? I am not familiar with that, but there are external wires going across the ceiling into the wall and down to the switch from a previous old fan that was there in its place. The only thing is that it had a single ceiling anchor attached to a hook and the old fan hung from that. The new fan has the circular mounting bracket so I was questioning how to hang it mostly.

Hi -- I'm facing a similar problem. I'm trying to install ceiling fans in a building with a concrete ceiling. The previous owner of my condo just slapped up a couple of cheap fans and jerry-rigged them to LIGHT fixtures. Now, while I'm tempted to follow suit, the guy was using fans that amounted to 20 lbs or so a piece, while I'm looking to install a brand-new Hunter. Let's just say that the new fan significantly outweighs its predecessor.
That said, I stood on a ladder and tugged on the light fixture box, and it was in there solidly.
Is there anything I can do to safely mount the new fan in the old space? Is there any good way to swap out the junction boxes?
Let me know if you need to see pictures -- I can post links.
Thanks for any help you folks could provide.
