Cap-Capacitor
A device used to give an electric motor a boost to aid in starting &/or running.
Found in all outdoor units & most indoor units. Not to be taken lightly. Can knock you on your tail if you don't know what you are doing or are careless.

A TXV is the valve you have on a A coil to meter the freon. You know the library has books on AC you can get. Then you will know what to ask about.
