I have a mosaic table I would like to use as my kitchen table. Is there anything I need to do to protect it from everyday use, like a sealer?

What does the surface of the table consist of? If it's a grouted ceramic tile any good tile shop can supply a sealer.
The tile itself will take a tremendous amount of use without appreciable wear and tear. As anyone who has ever tried to clean a tile bathroom can tell you the grout is what needs sealing - it can wear and get dirty fast.

I am not sure exactly what the top is made of since I purchased it already made from a flea market. It does have slate and other stone. Sorry I can't be more specific.
