Can some one tell me if there is a really good way to strip latex paint spots (sloppy painting) off of very light grey bricks? If possible, I would like to find some thing that will remove the paint without leaving a stain or disrupt the aged surface of the brick.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Best regards, Dick

First try water and a wire brush.
Second, try Goof Off and wire brush.
Last, try lacquer thinner and wire brush.

If none of these get it off, then its there for good.

just finished painting my home, im a a very sloopy painter...i started neat, but after a month of work i was getting fed up :) all of the above what pro said i used to clean up but my saving grace on the sidewalk and brick was just using the power washer and it came right up... good luck.

Thanks for replying EBMPilot. Power washer probably worked in your case since paint was still relatively fresh. Mine is 10 - 40 years old. Power washer didn't even make a dent in it - much less remove it.
