I was about to purchase about 800 sq ft. of Pergo Vintage Home laminate until I came to the mouldings. I need a fairly large # of feet of T-moulding. The laminate is going to be level with ceramic tile. The problem I ran into is that Pergo now only makes a 4 in 1 moulding which contais 6 1/2 ft. of T moulding. No separate T or end moulding. I confirmed this with Pergo customer service. The high price of the 4 in 1 moulding kit (about $50)was a deal breaker. The Vintage home color is Riverside Red Oak. Any suggestions on a another manufacturer would be appreciated. I don't want to get into staining.

I think Pergo is making a mistake with the 4 in 1 limitation.

Thanks

Weber

For the price of a wooden T-mold at a lumberyard I'll bet you would not mind staining.

Thanks for the quick reply. I will check the lumber yard for prices. How would you recommend fastening the T-mold. The Pergo moulding has a glueless metal fastening system. I don't know about the unstained T-mold.

As an aside I like the Quick Step Elegance floor better, but the wife likes the Pergo. Guess who wins? LOL

Thanks again.
