Would any of you choose this unit against an equivelent Culligan?
Thanks for all replies!

At the risk of overstepping the rules, I will give my feedback. Having serviced and installed countless water softeners of many brands and manufacture, I would have to be honest and say please do yourself a favor and go with the Fleck unit.
Much more reliable, service friendly, easier to work on and obtain parts, if needed, which is rarer than with the other brand you mentioned. I'm sorry but experience speaks for itself.
Metered units are good in that you don't use more salt than you have to, and uneccesary regenerations are eliminated should you go on vacation.

Thank you so much for your advice Wally!
I ordered the Fleck 9000 a few days ago, anxiously waiting its arrival.
