I have a bathroom sink that has a stopper stuck in the stopped position. I have tried to pull the handle up but it is not connecting. Don't know where to begin to unstop it. Any help would be appreciated.

You may need to tighten the clevis screw, or maybe the horizontal pivot rod has become undone. I posted a picture on my server to help you:

It worked!!! I unscrewed the retaining nut and adjusted the horizontal pivot rod so that I could release the plug. Then I reattached the plug and screwed everything tight again. Thank you so much!
