Hello! I was thinking of installing engineered hard wood over my existing hardwood floors. They cannot be refinished due to the may animal stains.
My problem is the top stair and stairwell. If I put 3/8" flooring down. It will raise the height of the last step, as well as create a slight lip from the finishing trim that rides over the floor. Would this be a a problem or are there any other solutions. Thank You
