Hello,
I was wondering if someone could answer a question I have regarding moving the Thermostat Control bulb away from the evaporater coils..
We have a window casement unit- bought last year..
The unit works fine, intial room cooling at night (we have Central AC- I just like the room really, really cold when sleeping) is great. However, over the course of the evening/early morning hours the unit was not cooling as much as I would of like it..
So yesterday, I moved the Thermostat Control bulb, I gently moved the part so it sticks out of the unit..You now can see the bulb as it sticks out the side of the front cover..
Last night was great, the room stayed at a very nice and cold temp... :)
Now, my question....Am I hurting anything by moving the bulb?
Thank You so much..
