I have a Maytag washer model #LAT8034AAE.
Today, it filled up with water and then stopped. No spin, no movement of the timer, nothing. Only the light is on (and stays on with the lid up or down...think it always did that).
Nothing I do seems to help. :wall:
Searching around this seems to indicate a faulty lid switch, and since the timer was replaced less than a year ago, it seems like that might be it.
Does this sound like a lid switch issue, and if so, do I replace the entire assembly (part 22001682) or just the switch part itself?
Note that the fuse in the switch looks good.
