I've installed hardwood flooring for years. It has only been recently that I've used a "wall jack." Previously, I just used a flat bar. This tool does such a nice job and doesn't damage existing baseboards. It's the coolest thing since sliced bread, but I can't find them anywhere. Can anyone direct me to this tool? It is fairly small, and has two small handles on top. You position the jack on top of your last row (or two, or three) of flooring. You can even place a scrap of wood between the jack and the wall. The handles then ratchet the jack to tighten the flooring together to be face nailed. I may not have the proper name for the tool. I hope it's not a fluke homemade invention or something. It's too cool to be!!! Anyways, some direction would be nice. THANKS ahead of time for advice.
