Kenmore Washer Willnot Quit Filling

HELP!!

Its flooding here.

I have a Kenmore model 110-925912000.

It will not quit filling. I have to manually turn it to drain.
Cannot get it to aggitate because it won't quit filling!!

Time to replace the water level switch. (low, med. high). If its not sensing that the water level is at its set point it will fill forever. Take your model # to your local appliance repair shop or Sears & they should be able to get you a replacement. Pretty easy to replace.

It could also be a defective water valve if it continues to fill when the machine is turned off

Yes, it could be the water valve. However, it would start agitating at the preset level if the water level switch is working. If you manually turn it off & the water continues to fill, the water valve is sticking open. If the water stops coming into the machine when turned off, the level switch needs replaced. Dave
