Hello, I have a Springer Spaniel (Gerri Springer! :) ) who just will not stop scratching the wall next to my kitchen doors when she wants to go out. It was my thought to perhaps put up some stainless steel sheeting to prevent her from damaging and/or staining the drywall by these doors. Is stainless sheeting the way to go for this, or is there some other product which is easy to install and will protect the drywall? Also, how would the sheeting be attached to the drywall, glue or screw fasteners? All feedback welcome. Thanks - Steve

I would opt to screw a piece of plexiglass over that spot. Cheap, and easy, and it still shows the wall.
