I love Buddleia. I once lived on an older property that had a Buddleia. Nanho Blue = Mongo = Blue Dwarf = Petite Indigo is one of three popular varieties. Because of trademark issues other variety names may not be available. 'Nanho Blue' is more compactly leafed than most Butterfly Bush varieties. It is easily maintained at four to six feet in height, & five feet wide, if it is hard-pruned annually.

Late winter while dormant is the best time to prune. You will also be doing pruning if you collect bouquets. If not pruned, plants will become messy and rangy. Sweeps may be 6-8' wide.
