I have recently installed a laminate hardwood floor and have completed everything except installing the carpet reducers. The carpet sits even with the laminate floor and I can't seem to get the reducers in the track and keep them down. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Pull the carpet up and tackstrip. Install the reducer, endcap and the reinstall the tackstrip leaving a 3/8" gap between the transition and the tackstrip. Stretch the carpet up on the tackstrip pins, with a stretcher and hook it on the pins. Trim excess, and tuck the edge into the gully. Don't cut it short!
