I replaced the water intake valve on this washer the water fills up fine but doesn't stop. The washer never senses that the tank is full and the excess water just runs out the discharge hose.

I pulled the whole thing apart to replace the water intake valve and was pretty sure I put it back all right, but I may have done something to whatever sensor there is that tells the machine that it is full and it should start its wash cycle.

Does any one have any advice?
