I installed a new outdoor post lamp today. The electric eye has a white & black wire plus a red. The Lamp a black and White and copper ground.
What is proper wiring configuration.
Currently light is on all the time.
Basically where does the red wire go from the electric eye if the lamp is wired
balck to black and white to white to both the electrical source and the eye?

The power in goes to the black of the eye. The black from the fixture goes to the red. All whites together. All grounds together.
