Matag Neptune dosen't seem to get to high speed in the spin cycle. The washer does go through the spin cycle but does not reall spin up as it has and so the clothes are still pretty wet at the end of the wash.

When the washer was reaching a high spin, (at least higher than it is now) there was some vibration but I did not think much about it.
I have tried several times runing the machine thrugh the spin cycle with the same results, slow.

When the washer vibrates in the spin cycle it wobbles and hits a plunger type switch that slows the washer down and tries to re balance the load.it will do the forever as far as i know. Your problem could be normal or it could be one of the safety devices built in to the unit. This is a problematic machine and may be covered in a lawsuit depending on the problem.

How long has this been going on? What if you run it with no clothes?

Just started in the past few days.
I just did a small load and the problem is still the same.
I will check out the web site on the lawsuit.
