My tomatoes and radish leaves are being eaten by some unknown insect. The leaves have tiny holes in them and are turning a brown color. On the underside of the leaves there are black insects. Does anyone know what these insects are and how to treat them? Thanks for the help.

The fleabeetle is a pest common to both radishes and tomatoes. It chews small holes in the leaves, is dark in color, about 1/16th inch long, hiding on the underside of the leaves. You can treat severe infestations with diatomaceous earth or rotenone.
Hope this helps.
