What cleaning products can you use to clean the bricks on the outside. I need to find something to either clean or restore. The way my fireplace looks now is an eye sore and any suggestions would be helpful.

Muriatic acid. Apply (diluted) acid to brick, watch it foam, leave on for 15" or so, and then rinse off with water and use a sturdy brush. You *must* have good ventilation as the fumes will eat your lungs out. Follow the instructions on the label.

hi
try "tsp" its easyer on the lungs then the other, but still needs to be used in a ventlated area, and with glovers. same idea use a stiff brush and scrub. you will most likely need to paint the walls and ceiling after i used it on my angel stone fireplace i had spots of dirt on the ceiling and walls
