We have a Honeywell programmable thermostat (I think model # t8024c)
The display went off - I've checked the circuit breaker is on and the next action is to check if the fuse is blown and replace the fuse.

I took the unit off the wall and I think I see the two fuses (one looks like a black plastic coated end of a safety pin and the other is a little brown covered wire). I don't have any technical quide explaining how to check if the fuse is blown, etc.

It is really really hot here in N. Texas. Please help!

Thanks,
Wanda

There are no fuses in a Honeywell thermostat. What you are looking at is the circuit board for the thermostat. The part that you removed from the wall has 3 AAA batteries that probably need to be changed.

Doesn't have any AAA batteries in mine, I think the 3v batteries in it are hardwired in, so it looks as if you have to get a new one like me....

The web site below has the owners manual for your thermostat:

Good luck!
