I recently removed a very heavy coal stove from my slate hearth. After doing so I noticed some minor scratches where the legs were and a very dirty hearth. I do not plan on replacing the stove and I would like to dress up the slate as much as possible. Is there any way to remove these scratches and clean and seal the slate with overthe counter materials George.
