I have a Magic Chef top freezer refridgerator MDL: RB171PLH S/N: 10334941HF that does not cool as well as it should. The freezer stays about 40 F and the fridge is about 50 F. I always keep thermometers in the two locations and have noticed this occurred suddenly. Any suggestions of what to look for other than freon low?

Make sure both fans are running, you have one for the cond. and one for the freezer, check your coils to make sure they are cleans, a lot of the time when one quits cooling is because the coils are plugged, if dirty clean them well and then see from there if it begins cooling again.
