I just started up a 4'x4' organic garden and I am supposed to add dry molases to the soil...but the store only sells the 40lb bags and i only need like 1/2lb of it...is there anything else i can use? The book i have says to add "Sugar (such as dry molases)...." Anything else I can substitute for it?

You might try a feed store. Maybe talk to a dairy or beef farmer about a small quantity.
Hope this helps.

Check, too, at organic health food store. There are smaller bags available.
