Cleaning and Stain Removal - Help, a pen dropped down our nubuck fabric sofa last night

Dropped a pen down the fabric sofa last night and has badly marked - dad going mental what can I do! :mad :mad:

I would try blotting the stain with rubbing alcohol. It wouldn't be a bad idea to try this first on an inconspicuous area of the couch to make sure the alcohol didn't affect the fabric itself.

If ink is permanent, you will probably have no luck removing ink stain. If it's a non-permanent ink, you may have success lightening or removing stain by blotting with white rag and solvent cleaner like rubbing alcohol, denatured alcohol, or dry cleaning fluid. Test first in inconspicuous area for ill effects. Blot stain from outside toward middle to prevent spreading. Use white rag and apply solvent to the rag. Blot. Do not rub fabric as you do not want to damage the nubuck fibers. If in doubt, call a professional upholstery cleaner.
