Have a Heavy Duty*Super Capacity*5 Cycle dryer, Model NJSR453EW0WW which gets a lot of use. It has begun to squeak intermittently...not one long squeeeeeeaaaak, but a whole bunch of short ones. It still runs and drys, but I want to fix it before it breaks down. My first thought is to replace the "shaft bracket assy." since the noise seems to tie in with the drum rotation. Before I waste $ 35 and a lot of my time, is there anything else I should check out first? Could it also be something with the drive motor or drive belt?

Thats Pretty Much The Usual Problem With Them... Shaft Could Be Ok And Just Need The Bearing Bushing... PUT IN THE 4 FRONT SLIDES WHILE YOU HAVE IT APART

Put in a new shaft assy. and it made no change in the squeak. Also 3-1 oiled the white tension pulley on a long-shot with no luck. Can it be the motor or the blower making the noise? Doubt it is the blower because it gets louder on heavy load and is almost quiet when run empty. Can the motor bearings be oiled and if so how best to access?
