the motor inside the freezer that makes everything cold keeps freezing up. Every few days i have to take everything out and let it thaw. ive lost alot of food in the refridgerator beacuse it won't stay cold

The motor is a fan and it blows over the evaporator which is the thing that frosts up. If the fan can't blow air over it the refridgerator will not get cold enough. The ref has and automatic defrost that is not working. It is supposed to defrost the ref about 4 times a day. The defrost timer stops the compressor from runningcooling] and turns on a heater near the coils in the freezer. Yours is not working. you will need to locate the defrost timer and test it for continuity or maybe advance itto see if it will turn on the heater. Can you do this.It may be located at the bottom of the fridge behing the removable plate

There are a number of other things it could be but this is most likely in my opinion. I assume the door is sealing the freezer compartment. Anybody got a better idea feel free.

ive defrosted evertying. i can't tell where the timer would be. i see a thing that clips onto a peace of copper. then runs to a wire connector the that runs down inside the machine

do a google search. type in defrost timer and search for images. This will tell you what to look for. I told you where I thought it might be at least you will know what it looks like
