I have a nice canvas carry bag that some work gloves were packed in for awhile. Now, I found that the bag and gloves have mold/mildew on them. What is the best way to wash them to remove this stuff and not spread it all over.... and will it spread in my washer/dryer??

Mold and mildew stains tend to be next to impossible to remove from fabric. At best you might lighten them. You can wash in disinfectant or chlorine bleach, if fabric is not dyed, to kill mold and mildew.
