Curious problem. We bought a new home several months back and yesterday, for the first time, we noticed condensation sweat forming on the A/C vent in our master bathroom. It drops water as the day goes on.
A friend of mine suggested the A/C ductwork might have an insulation tear in the attic that is causing this to sweat. I live in Austin, TX and it is getting hotter. Any advise from an expert would be appreciated.
Thanks

I am assuming this problem is not noticed at any other vents. Your friend is right on track. Is this particular vent very close to your air handler blower? The ductwork to this supply boot is probably not insulated properly. Take a look and let us know.
