Hello All,
My inlaws own a Sears Vacuum, Model # 841 (circa 1988!). The vacuum motor itself runs fine. The vacuum hose is another story. Like almost all kenmore vacuums, there is a electrical line that runs through the vacuum hose, supplying power from the vacuum base to the powermate/powerbar. That has become faulty (Wiggle the wire and the powermate turns on/off).
My question is: How easy is it to replace this? Does the electrical cord run circles around the interior of the vacuum hose? I can get the part(s) for about $20.00 dollars.
Thanks!
