My house was built last November and everything is new.

There is a seperate Trane heat/AC unit in the attic for the upstairs and one in the crawl space under the house for the main floor.

Everything was working fine until last week when we were without power for 24 hours. After the power was restored, the unit in the attic came back on fine and the one in the crawl space blows air but its not cold.

Any ideas before I call a tech to come look at it?

Outside condensor fan running? Check breakers. New Home, builder give warranty...

Fans are running, circuit breakers are fine. There are 2 small boxes attached to the outside of the house that contain a big plug that you can pull out out and flip upside down to enable or disable the unit and one was poped out. I don't see how it could have been poped out unless its like a circuit breaker and dislodges when theres a surge.

At first there was nothing but after the plug was pushed back in, the unit came back on but its not blowing cool air. I know that the plug was pushed back in correctly because there are labels to show if its on or off.

It is under warrenty so i'm not worried about having to call someone, I was just curious if there was something that I may be missing.

This is my first house so I am still new to actually having to fix stuff vs calling the landlord.

The only thing I know of which will cause the disconnect to pop out is a line surge. Even that is rare. When the service person comes to fix your unit, ask him/her to install a time delay on the outdoor unit if there is not one already in your thermostat.
