I have a 5 year old Frigidaire electric dryer model #FDE7971EW2 that is squeaking really bad. It has been doing this for a couple of months now (I know...I kinda procrastinated this).
On this website it lists several possible problems for a "noisy dryer": Rollers, Idler Pulley, Glides, Rear Drum Bearing, Blower Wheel.
How can I know which one is the problem?
Thank you!

I wish we could upload the sound bytes of our dryer noises. My one yr old Frig. dryer started out as load squeeks, they "fixed" it by replacing the bearings. That worked for a couple weeks. Now it sounds like a dinosaur "gronk", almost like a very unbalanced washer. Today they will be coming to (hopefully) really fix it. I'll let you know if it was the bearings again.
