I suspect that the concrete under my worn black top might acually be good. The area I would like to remove is where I work on my cars,in front of the garage as the jacks and jackstands have already done some damage.

My question is how do I remove the asphalt? Will working at it until it prys away work? or does it have to be grinded off like the repaving of local streets.
