After searching this forum and related links, I think my leaking Maytag dishwasher (DWU8860) problem is a result of a worn soap dish latch gasket. Assuming my assumption is correct (leak is at bottom of door and underneath at the access panel), how do I install this $2.50 part? Do I have to take the inside plastic panel on the front door off and, if so, how? (the "screws" look like tiny 6-pointed "stars" - sorry for my lack of technical terms). It sure would be easier to just seal the gasket area with silicone caulk or plumbers' putty -- is that an alternative? Thanks in advance for any help.

Turn Off Power And Remove Those Screws All The Way Around And Lift Off Inside Plastic Panel... Should Be Ok From There... The Screws Are Torx....
