Fans not doing it for me anymore, so I'm looking to air condition my apartment. We're two bedroom, high ceiling, not sure about square footage, maybe 8-900. Any help is appreciated.

Check with your landlord if they will allow you to have Window A/C.. Then do a rough messurement of the room or apt you want to cool.. Also messure your window opening so you can fit a unit it...
