I have a Samsung Air Conditoner that I got last year. I've been running it for a few days now and would turn it off for a little bit at times. Lately, I have been noticing that water seems to be coming out the bottom of the unit on the inside as well. I'm not sure if there's something wrong here, but would like an answer as soon as possible. Why do I got so much water leaking out of it on the inside?

Is the window unit on a downward slope towards the outside? If not, it should be.

Would it be a bad thing if it's not? It's not tilted at all and the a/c unit I had last year wasn't on a tilt either and I had no problem with water coming on the inside of the house.

It should be tilted back slightly, so the water will run to the back and outside.

It needs to be tilted slightly back for proper drainage and also there are small drainage holes between the indoor section and the outdoor section inside the cabinet that get clogged occasionally. 1st try tilting it back some and it that don't help you will need to take the cabinet off and clean it out inside.
