I just got done painting one of my bedrooms using BEHR paint and when i was cleaning up i noticed a big spot of paint on my carpet! It is now dried and there is a bunch on the 4 inch square spot. How do i get it out? cut it out, solvent?

Solvent based cleaner. I have had success with using mineral spirits. Apply to a rag, not to the carpet. Blot continue until removed. Rinse carpet. May take time but will work.

If paint is just on tips of carpet fiber. cut off with scissors if this will not make a notice to fiber height. Once paint is dried it is next to impossible to remove, even water-based latex. Paint stains must be attended to immediately. Water-based paint can be cleaned with plain water and oil based with solvent. Once paint has dried there tend to be few options.
