Two weeks ago we spilled a tray of hot wings and sauce on our concrete patio. Now, after hosing and even power washing, the stain remains. The patio is concrete with a pebble finish. The stained area just looks like it is wet, when it clearly is not. Any suggestions for cleaners we could try?

Thanks,
Brian

I ran accross a similar situation a month back. Sounds like to me its mostly a grease spot that is in the concrete. Concrete is porous. So, that is why its a pain to get anything out of it. I would go with a quality degreaser. Some citris based neutral cleaners will do the trick. Giving the product a good dwell time is the key 10-15 mins. Then rinse it with very hot water. Repeated applications may be needed. Agitation right after application with a deck brush will help.

If Doccduck's degreaser products don't work, try some solvent cleaners. Concrete tends to be porous and absorbent. Give products time to work and back up with power wash.
