Looking at pouring a concrete patio and have heard of laying a limestone facade on the fresh concrete. Would that be done just after screeding, walking through in boots, or would the patio need to be floated first? Any experiences or ideas?

Ordinarily, flat stones or pavers would be added after the concrete cures. There may be special techniques to place these stones in fresh concrete, but timing and skill would be paramount for success.

Thanks. I'll just let it cure first!
