I have a window unit mounted directly thru the wal of a backyard room, it is a whirlpool the model is ACM052XK1.

the problem im having is this little ac unit isnt putting thru any power, its fairly new only been running a few months now.

I can feel slightly cold air coming thru when i have the unit on maximum fan speed and maximum coldness, anything else isnt worth a damn.

it worked fine a week ago, then started this and would stay on at that sppeed and temp, then it went to deciding when it would shut itself off for a while every 20 minutes i would say.

also the air blowing inside thru the unit is real warm in front of where it coes in, im not sure if thats normal or not

I dont know much about window units or if this is fixable or it i should just toss it and buy a new one if need be.. any help is appreciated, thanks

if this unit is only 2 months old I'd call for service.. don't mess with it.. otherwise, the warranty will be voided.
