Looking for some debug ideas.

AC system seemed to work for a couple of days then problems.
Blower fan (furnace) OK when no cooling demand but stops instantly when compressor/fan of AC starts.
Despite 90 degrees, tried heating and it seems OK
Have changed thermostat and get same symptoms
Keeprite Optima III AND Trane furnace
Any ideas appreciated - Thanks

did you make sure you wired everything up right??

Jumper the R G Y wires, and fan should run..

This happens when you have the fan switch on "Auto" or "On"?

Don't think that it is a wiring problem but tried shorting out the three wires as you suggested. Same sysmptoms. Blower fan will run on its own but once compressor is connected, the blower fan stops.

All of this happens with the fan in "on" position.
