Air Conditioning - No cold air blowing - Lennox

Hello:

I have a three yr old Lennox system in the attic. Today was the first time I started up the AC and the air blowing out of registers is not cold (bot not hot either). I have a second zone furnace in the basement and the air blowing out of the bsmt and first floor registers is cooler.

The system is 3 years old - Lennox Merit series product.

The air is obviously blowing out of the registers and the compressor fan outside comes on. Simply put - the air is not cold.

I'm going to call for service, but need to educate mself. Does it look like ther is a freon leak and if so, can it be detected and effectively repaired by a skilled technician?

Since the system is only 3-4 yrs old, is it possible the parts are still covered by Lennox?

I'm not sure of their warranties. If the system is low on refrigerant, a skilled technician should be able to find & repair a leak.
