Hope this is the proper forum. My roommate's brother installed a new garbage disposal about 18 months ago, and a few days ago we noticed it leaking. There are four threaded screws protruding from the bottom of the unit and three of them show rust discoloration. I suppose I could put some sealer of some kind on them to see if that halts the leak, but I'd like to know a little more about why they would leak. Any info would be appreciated.
TIA,
Jerry

Try To Locate The Leak.... It May Be Leaking From The Top Sink Seal Ring.... If Its A Internal Leak It Will Be Covered Under Warranty....

The sides of the disposal are dry. It appears to be coming from the "screws"(?).
I couldn't find a thread/forum for garbaged disposal R&R, and not being all that much of a handyman, do you have any suggestions for resources on the web?
Thanks for your help.
