I have a GE Refrigerator model #TFX25ZPZB and the ice maker just stopped working. There appears to be ice in the tray ready to be dumped, but it isn't ejecting the cubes. I'm fairly handy at repairs, but don't know where to start. Please help

I have a Kenmore REFRIGERATOR model 3639512413. The ice maker makes ice okay but the ice dispenser will only dispense crushed ice. There is a lever that slides between Crushed Ice and Cubed Ice, when the lever is in the Cubed Ice position I still get crushed ice. Unlike Weehawk I am not very handy, but like Weehawk, I don't know where to start (look for).
