How can I remove a candle wax stain on a synthetic marble tub. The candle just sat there and was never lighted.

Try rubbing with rubbing alcohol and white rag. If you see some results, poor some alcohol on stain and let it set. Baking soda and water paste is a mild abrasive cleaner which may also be helpful. You can also make a paste of water and Barkeeper's Friend or Zud, which are both mild abrasive cleaners, and let set to try to lift stain. Repeat applications may be necessary to lift the stain. Once removed, apply auto wax to tub to seal and provide sheeting action. Do not wax bottom of tub because it will make it dangerously slippery.
