Hi, I stumbled upon this board when I was seaching for information on Trumpet Vines. I planted mine two years ago and there are still no signs of flowering. Is it true that it could take up to 5 years to flower? Any info would be great.
I have it growing over an arbor going into the pool area. All day sun.

It’s normal for trumpet vines to take their blooming time, especially if they live on the colder side of their climate range (like Zones 4-5). Trumpet vines prefer hot weather and full sun against a wall where they get reflected heat. If you live in Zone 5 where it takes longer for summer to arrive it will take longer for the vine to bloom. It needs lots of sun and moderate water and no fertilizer. Just be patient for 3-5 years for blooms.
